I'm a big fan of the language, so I'll share with you some sites that I use on a daily basis for learning and translating Japanese.

Some lessons: Each of these sites put a different spin on the way they see the learning curve.

Phrases, slang and vocabulary: These are very helpful in my opinion.

Translation sites: English to Japanese(romaji) - Japanese(kanji & romaji) to English

I hope these helped. Feel free to post any sites you would like to share!

this looks really helpful for those who want to learn

there are also some learning games out there

http://lrnj.com/ - Slime Forest. It's like one of those old school rpgs, but you attack by memorizing the kana

http://www.kicl.info/ - Knuckles in China Land. A much more fleshed out game, and my personal favorite. Helps in teaching you kana, kanji, and vocab while giving you a storyline to boot.

Please everyone post more links if you've got them!
